Overview

Source Types classify the websites and pages that appear in AI search results, giving you a clear picture of where your brand is being mentioned. The system uses two layers of classification—Source Type for the overall domain and URL Type for the specific page—to help you analyze the nature and credibility of your mentions.
By analyzing the types of sources mentioning your brand, you can gauge credibility, identify high-performing content formats, and refine your PR and content strategy.

Source Type provides a high-level categorization of the entire domain or website. This helps you understand the general nature of the source at a glance.
